Coming here for dinner was a last minute decision and I am so glad we did!! What a great local gem! I tried to get the prime rib which they have Friday and Saturday after 4pm until it is gone and missed it because it was gone within an hour (minus end pieces), so I ordered the French dip sandwich and it was by far the best in the area without question. I also had Buffalo chicken tenders as an appetizer which I would put up against any Buffalo tenders I've had EVER. I can't wait to come back here and try the amazing prime rib and so many other great options on their menu!!! This is a must try if ever in the area!
Atmosphere is classy rustic NH. Staff is friendly and genuine. Drinks were well balanced and strong. Artichoke dip arrived hot and fast. The place was warm and comfortable like a flannel blanket near a fire inside a log cabin. Bathrooms were clean and stocked
Finally had the chance to try Country Spirit Restaurant and we all had a lovely time. The Restaurant was cleaned and well staffed, though it was not too busy during our visit. They had a decent selection of food including appetizers. Their chicken nachos were a hit and with 6 people, we still had leftovers. I feel that all the food was really well done though. I was asked how I would like my burger prepared and I said medium but my burger came out hockey puck black and hard. Everything else was really good though. Country Spirit Restaurant also has a gift shop and some amazing looking apple desserts, though I did not purchase any of them.
We were a group of six and we got a table just after a short wait. We ordered an assortment of drinks, appetizers and entrées, along with dessert to share. Overall, the food was very good and the portions were very filling. They have a good selection of pub fare and restaurant food. The staff was very friendly and diligent.
Nice restaurant and bar. Varied menu and food is largely pretty good. One big knock in the restaurant is the physical space doesn’t hold sound well and it can get loud. Country feel to the restaurant as name implies. Bar area cool as it has money all over the ceiling which you can learn the trick if you are willing to spare a bill.
