The food was very good on the buffet. The only problem was it was cold. Last two times we were there it was cold. The gravy for the egg Foo Young was ice cold. We were there early thinking it would be hot. The owners before them didn't have a problem keeping it hot. The waitress was friendly and efficient. She still got $160 tip.
Ordered the special sweet and sour chicken plate, they gave me 3 chicken fingers and a red dip. Guess a lazy sweet and sour chicken?The rice that came with it was terrible, old smelling and greasy, meat on it was shriveled and unpleasant smell.the boneless ribs fatty and greasy as well, but the only thing I could eat.Very disappointing
I likely would've given five stars because I had a great time there and the food was much better than last time, however: 1. Service was good but not exceptional. 2. The senior discount was just one dollar. 3. The place is looking great but the bathrooms are run down and not cleaned well. 4. Just to be clearer, I do recommend the place as it was a wonderful time in a clean environment with great food.
By far the worse experience I've ever had at a restaurant. First the food was cold and stale at 5pm. Then I witnessed a very dirty customer stick his hand in his mouth then directly into the food. The only saving grace was how great our server was! WILL NEVER GO AGAIN!!! NETHER SHOULD YOU!!!!
It definitely feels much cleaner now with the remodeling they have done. It seems much brighter with the new chandeliers. The food is ok but could use some improvements. The chicken wings were dried out, scallops cold and rubbery and chicken fingers were rather cold. For the price increase I would expect hot food especially just after they opened. Since it's the only buffet in town I'd say it was ok but I wouldn't rush back to eat there again. At least the waitress was good.
